Desktop Publishing

In my professional life one of my duties included creating, editing and publishing reports and newsletters for a variety of audiences including demographic studies for Hayes Large Architects and a national non-profit organization, NAMI.  From 2001 to 2009 these quarterly newsletters were distributed electronically and in print to over 9000 members, elected and appointed government officials, the public and stakeholders. This required a broad and deep understanding of the mental health arena and timely, relevant and useful consideration of information.

In my personal time I enjoy volunteering for community organizations. One of these is the Blues Society of Central PA for which I have created several newsletters for the over 1000 local members and hundreds scattered across the world... I have also served on the board of directors for the Blues Society.

In an educational environment I have researched and created projects on a number of topics of interest, including Kecksburg UFO crash in 1965- Pennsylvania's Roswell ;).

Desktop Publications were created in Microsoft Publisher and exhibit a wide variety of techniques and  skills.
